KLINOFF, Jack M.


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ January 25, 2008 Jack M. Klinoff died Dec. 28, 2007. Jack was born Nov. 26, 1927, and was raised in Waterloo, Iowa. He spent his Army duty in the Medical Corps and was a school administrator in Iowa, California, Mexico and Guatemala. Travel, golf, books and classical music were his passions. He was always interested in people and never met a stranger. Jack is survived by his wife of 57 years, Iona; son Robert Klinoff of Bakersfield, Calif.; three daughters, Jackie Sproul of Worcester, Mass., Kathy Gill of Oxnard Calif., and Penny Baker of Los Banos, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Jack and Iona have been summer residents in Show Low for 12 years, and he leaves behind many dear friends. The family asks that remembrances be given in his name to the American Heart Association
