PAYSON, Ariz. ~ Rosalie Williams, 78, of Payson, Ariz„ formerly of Prairie City, died Sunday, Dec. 29, in Payson. Graveside services will be Friday at the Hewitt Cemetery in Reasnor with the Rev. Al Kinrade officiating. Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City is handling arrangements. Friends may call Thursday after 2 p.m. at the funeral home where family will be available from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorials will be accepted to Hospice of Payson.
The daughter of Bert and Gladys Waters Ruggles, she was born Oct. 3, 1922, in Prairie City. On March 27, 1943, she married Norman Williams in Prairie City. She lived in Prairie City until 1994 when she moved to Arizona.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Lola of Prescott, Ariz., Craig and Joan of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Gary and Michelle of Perry, Kan., six grandchildren, and a brother, Franklin Ruggles of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother and grandparents.

Rosalie Williams, 78, of Payson, Arizona (formerly of Prairie City), died on December 29, 2001. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3 at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City after 2:00 p.m., with family present from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Hewitt Cemetery in Reasnor with Rev. Al Kinrade officiating.
The daughter of Bert and Gladys Waters Ruggles, Rosalie was born October 3, 1922 in Prairie City. Her parents died when she was 11 and she was raised by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Waters of Prairie City. She married Norman Williams on March 27, 1943 in Prairie City. She was a lifelong resident of Prairie City, until moving to Arizona in 1994.
Survivors include three sons; Alan and Lois Williams of Prescott, Arizona, Craig and Joan Williams of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Gary and Michelle Williams of Perry, Kansas; a brother, Franklin Ruggles of Des Moines; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother, her parents, and her grandparents. Memorials are being accepted to Hospice of Payson, Arizona.
