Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona November 24, 1988, page 2-A Services were Tuesday at Community Alliance Church of Wickenburg for Barbara Fitzgerald McDonald 55, of Wickenburg, who died Nov. 17 at Del Webb Memorial Hospital in Sun City. The Rev. Robert Goldenberg officiated. The theme of the service was taken from II Timothy, 2:15, “Handling accurately the word of truth.” Mrs. McDonald was born July 18, 1933 in Orange, N.J. she had lived in Wickenburg for the past 12 years. She was a retired cafeteria food manager, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bernardsville, N.J. Survivors include her husband, Walter S. McDonald, Jr., of Wickenburg; four daughters, Mary Lou Sudela of Las Vegas, Nev., and Barbara Ann Bowerback, Claire Marjorie Ramos and Virginia Helen McDonald, all of Wickenburg; three sons, Robert Walter and Michael Paul of Bridgewater, West, Mass., and Walter Simms III of Winfield, Mo.; two sisters, Patricia Mercurio and Joan Conklin of Bernardsville; stepmother-in-law Helen McDonald of Parsipany, N.J.; two cousins, Ken and Bob Wade of Boston, Mass.; three nieces, Roxanne Jurtshenko, Barbara Mercurio and Sandy Conklin, all of Bernardsville; two nephews, Thomas Yachanin of Wickenburg and Vincent Mercurio of Bernardsville; and 11 grandchildren.
