VAN BILLIARD, Thomas S.

1 January 1937 -- 21 October 1981 Thomas S. Van Billiard a three-year resident of Mohave County, Arizona, died Oct. 21, 1981 in Riviera. He was 44. Mr. Van Billiard, a welder at the Southern California Edison Plant, was born in Colfax, Iowa, and came to Mohave County from California. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1959. Services were held Tuesday at Carpenter mortuary Chapel with the Rev. John R. Prater of the River Chapel Assembly of God presiding. Interment was at the Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Van Billiard is survived by his brothers Kenneth L. Van Billiard of Riverside, Calif., and Arne M. Van Billiard of Orange, Calif., sisters Lenore Ball of Des Moines, Iowa and Marjory Grimm of Rogers, Ark., step-brother Gary Roberts of Houston, Texas, step-sister Jeanne Clarke of Des Moines, his mother Mary S. Roberts of Des Moines and his Step-father Clair Roberts of Des Moines.
