Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona December 29, 1988, page 2-A Services were Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church for Norman F. Astwood, 67, of Wickenburg, who died Dec. 20 in Wickenburg Community Hospital. Pastor Gary Golike officiated, and burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Astwood was born March 31, 1921 in Ontario, Canada. He had lived in Arizona for the past year. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and was a member of the church choir. He was also a member of the Wickenburg Gem and Mineral Club, the Rollin’ Rock Club, Inc., and Ye Olde Timers Mineral Club. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, of Wickenburg; two sons, Steve, of Gorham, Maine, and David, of Ft. Worth, Texas; and a sister. Contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church of Wickenburg building fund, or the American Cancer Society.
