Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona December 29, 1988, page 2-A Memorial services are scheduled at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Community Baptist Church in Aguila for Herman “Slim” Henson, 75, who died Dec. 24 in Phoenix. Pastor Joel Hamby will officiate, with burial following in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Henson was born Sept. 7, 1913 in Marquette, Texas. He had lived in Arizona for the past six years. He is survived by his wife, Agnes, of Aguila; a son Jimmy, of Santa Ana, Calif.; a daughter, Shirley Wheeler of Riverside, Calif.; two grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
