The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, January 06, 2011 Lillie Alva Grace, 99, born Feb. 14, 1911, in Fourmile, Ky., passed away Dec. 30, 2010, in Prescott, Ariz. Services will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 7, 2011, at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott, Ariz. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, January 13, 2011 Lillie Alva Kelton Grace Lillie Alva Kelton Grace went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 30, 2010. We are comforted in the assurance of her never-wavering faith with God. Lillie was born Feb. 14, 1911, in Fourmile, Ky., to Dr. Claude Malvern Kelton and Della Hunt Kelton. She often accompanied her father on his medical house calls in a horse and buggy. Her family moved from Kentucky to the area of Clark and Steamboat Springs, Colo. They survived the Great Depression living on their "homestead" ranch. She has been a resident of Prescott, Ariz., since 1936, when she and her husband William Ernest Grace moved here from Colorado. She worked for many years as a nursing assistant at the Prescott Community Hospital and Yavapai County Hospital, which later became Yavapai Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Kelton Sims, and children Dorcas Glidewell, Jane Whitbey (Jim), Howard Grace (Jody), Claudia Sue Armer (John), John Grace (Lenore) and Kathy Swope (Ed). She has two deceased children, Robert William Grace and Louise Kelton Grace. She has 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Born on Valentine's Day, she lived and gave a lifetime of love to all she knew.
