The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ October 15, 2009 Robert Timothy Norvel entered into rest Oct. 10, 2009, in Scottsdale. He was born Dec. 1, 1965, in Whiteriver. Robert is survived by his adoptive parents, Bob and Donna Norvel; father Hubert Goclanney Sr.; mother Lorrena Goclanney; siblings Lydia Goclanney Natonabahh, Hilbert (Pepper) Goclanney, Ramona Goclanney and Hubert Goclanney Jr.; aunts Helena G. Bonito, Joanna Nashio and Leona K. Hawthorn; uncles Jackson Gatewood Sr., Phillip Goclanney, Paul Goclanney, Elmer Rolland Sr. and Lito Goclanney; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by Purcell Kane, Constance Tortice Kane, Iris Seymour Nashio, Josiah Goclanney, Herbert (Snooz) Goclanney, Bernando Goclanney, Lloyd Kane Sr. and Clifton Nelson. A one-night wake will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at the Goclanney's residence, 3730 E. Fort Apache Road in East Fork. A home service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the family residences in East Fork with Pastor Greg of the White Mountain Apache Christian Church officiating. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
