The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ October 8, 2009 Esther Louise Bastien, 72, died Sept. 23, 2009, at the Friendship House in Eagar. She was born April 21, 1937, in Rockport, Ind. Esther was a homemaker. She is survived by her sons, Donald E. Evans Sr. and Michael W. Evans; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and brother Ernest L. Hardy Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy F. Bastien in 1993. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 29, in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Interment was held in Munn Cemetery, Newbury Township, Ohio. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar assisted the family with arrangements.
