The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ October 5, 2009 Richard Jonathan Young, 38, died Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, at his home in White Mountain Lake. He was born May 29, 1971, in Mesa to Richard Gerald and Dollie Ann Mason Young. Richard was a man who beat the odds. He always tried to help others. He loved computers, fishing and working on cars. Richard is survived by his mother, Dollie Young; brothers Michael, Matthew and Bobbie; sisters Billie Leyba and Deann Leal; three nieces and six nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard G. Young. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Owens Livingston Mortuary, White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th St. in Show Low. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at South Park Cemetery in Roswell, N.M. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
