James D. Strong passed peacefully from this life Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, at Tall Pines Care and Rehab Center in Show Low. He was born Oct. 10, 1947, in Salem, Oregon.

He will truly be missed by all who came to know him.

He is survived by family members in Anchorage, Alaska, and numerous friends in the Snowflake area.

Memorial services will be held at 11:15 a.m. Oct. 4 at the Snowflake Church of Christ (located 1 1/2 miles east of Snowflake).
