Jack Bernard Tuft, 78, died Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, in Show Low. He was born March 13, 1931, in Tyler, Texas.

Jack was a loving and giving person who was always helping others, especially young people. He was a loyal American, having been decorated for his service during the Korean Conflict.

A true cowboy at heart he was a lovable character who loved to joke around. Jack made the "best damn coffee on the Mountain."

Jack is survived by his wife, Jean; brother James Tuft; and a special nephew Richard Burgess.
