Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 5, 1989, page 2 Mass was Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg for Santos Gabriel Madrid, 84, of Wilhoit, who died Dec. 28 in Yavapai Medical Center in Prescott. Fr. Thomas Boyle officiated, with graveside services following at Genung Memorial Park in Peeples Valley, conducted by Cecil Davis. Mr. Madrid was born No. 1, 1904 in Congress, and was a lifelong resident of Arizona. He married Fay Rankin in 1964. He was raised on and worked at the Grapevine Springs Ranch and was a cattleman and rancher all his life. Survivors include his wife, Fay; a daughter, Shamolee, of Wilhoit; three sons, Frank, Gabe and Mike, all of Wilhoit, three sisters, Ruth Earl, Thersa Miller and Lola Nelson, all of Wickenburg; and a brother, Lino Madrid of Wickenburg. Arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
