VALLE,
Idolina
The White Mountain Independent,
Show Low, Arizona ~ September 28, 2009
Idolina Valle, devoted mother and beloved wife, joined our Heavenly Father Sept. 14, 2009, after having brought love and light to our world for the past 64 years. For almost two years, she had battled a rare lung condition until she finally succumbed to it at University Medical Center in Tucson.
Idolina was born Sept. 16, 1941, in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico, and was raised from humble beginnings. She immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 19 and had lived here ever since.
In her early 30s, she began volunteering for the Humane Society and hospital auxiliary and later helped found Caring Friends, Inc., a non-profit organization. She managed the Twice Is Nice Thrift Store for 25 years, who proceeds not only benefited RTA Hospice, but also helped individuals and families in need throughout the White Mountains and as far as the four corners area.
Her compassion, generosity and kindness impacted the lives of countless people and she loved the White Mountains and her many, many friends.
Idolina is survived by her husband, Manuel; son Nole (Danitza); two granddaughters, Noellene and Danielle. She is also survived by her son, Nathaniel, her daughter-in-law JoAnna and their three children, Viedel, Devin and Matthew.
They will grieve for many years to come, yet rejoice for the rest and rewards that Idolina so justly deserves in the next life.
