ROBINSON, Ralph (Grumps) Frederick

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ September 14, 2009 Ralph "Grumps" Frederick Robinson, 62, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, in Springerville. He was born October 14, 1946, in Amarillo, Texas, to Clarence Frederick Robinson and Lela Mae Ellis. Ralph was retired. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, gardening and cooking on the grill. He was kindhearted, stubborn and onery. He is survived by his wife, Doris Athena Robinson of Springerville, son David Anthony Robinson of Springerville and daughters Delores Lee Peru and Jeri Lynn Franks. He had three brothers, Don Lee Fox, Dan Robinson and George Robinson; two sisters, Paula Marie Johnson and Arla Kay Douglas; and grandparents William and Della Broadstreet. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Shad Bryant, Justin Bryant, Kaci Dollery, Cooper Franks and Jessica Bryant. He was loved by J.J., Richie, Nic, Evan, Ry and Jennifer. Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Springerville. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled arrangements.
