Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Published Sunday, January 2, 2011 - Marie Elaine (Parsons) Brown joined her parents in Heaven Dec. 22, 2010 with loved ones by her side. She will be greatly missed by her three children, Barbara Morin (Bill), of Jacksonville, Fla., Robert DeLorey (Kathy), of Phoenix, and Elizabeth DeLorey, of Phoenix. Marie is also survived by one sister and six brothers, three grandsons, and one great-granddaughter. Marie was a very caring, compassionate and generous person who loved her family, friends, and animals deeply! Her passion, above all, was reading books; she always loved a good mystery novel. At her request, no formal services will take place. Instead a buffet dinner and celebration of her life will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday in Lake Havasu City at the London Bridge Resort Convention Center, 1477 Queens Bay. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a local Hospice facility or to the charity of your choice in Marie’s memory.
