Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona February 2, 1989, page 2 Services were Thursday, Jan. 26 at the First Baptist Church in Yarnell for Zelma Head, 81, who died Jan. 21 in her home in Yarnell. The Rev. Vander Baldwin officiated, with burial following in the Genung Cemetery in Peeple’s Valley. Mrs. Head was born June 18, 1907 in Texas. She had lived in Yarnell for almost 20 years, moving to the community from Blythe, Calif., in 1969. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1980; and a daughter, Charlene Scoggin, in 1972. She was a homemaker. She is survived by a son, Lewis, of Moorpark, Calif.; a sister, Lula Mae Neel, of Long Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements were by the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home in Prescott.
