Vance, 59, of Yarnell, who died Monday, Jan. 30 in the VA Hospital in Tucson. Mr. Vance died following complication after heart surgery. He was born Oct. 13, 1929 in Wessington, S.D. He was educated in high school and college in Huron, S.D. Following 20 years of military service, he retired in 1971 from the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Jean; a son Donald Vance Jr., and three grandchildren.
