Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona February 16, 1989, page 2 Burial services were Friday at the Wickenburg Cemetery for William “Bill” Anderson, 88, of Phoenix, who died Feb. 7 at the Westchester Care Center in Tempe. Pastor Mark Swarbrick officiated. Mr. Anderson was a former Wickenburg resident who had lived in Arizona for the past 19 years. He was born Jan. 19, 1901 in Chicago. A retired chiropractor, he and his second wife, Harriett Madsen Anderson, moved to Wickenburg in 1969. He was formerly married to Ruthe Greene Anderson, who preceded him in death in 1954. Harriett Anderson preceded him in death in 1975. Mr. Anderson was educated in Souris, N.D. and at the School of Forestry in Bottinteau, N.D. He later taught school in the Waterford City, N.D., area. Survivors include a son Gene, of Phoenix; a sister, a granddaughter, Rochelle, and numerous nieces and nephews. The Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
