Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona February 23, 1989, page 2-A Services were Wednesday in the Wickenburg Funeral Home chapel for Onie Everett Birchfield, 74, of Wickenburg, who died Feb. 18 in the Wickenburg Nursing Home. The Rev. Delbert Henderson officiated, with burial following in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Birchfield was born July 6, 1914 in Mammoth, W. Va. He had lived in Arizona for the past five years. He was retired from Marion Power Shovel Co. of Marion, Ohio, a veteran of World War II, and a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Wickenburg. Survivors include his wife Mildred, of Wickenburg; three daughters, Jean McCourd of Ohio and Linda Eastwood and Sandra Simpson, both of Wickenburg; two sons, Troy and Charles, both of Wickenburg; a brother, Okie; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. All arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
