  BARKLEY DIES AT 75 IN YUMA

Erle Barkley, 75, of Yuma, Ariz., long a resident of the Sheridan [Iowa] community, died in his Arizona home early Friday, Nov. 30, 1979. Memorial services for Erle Barkley were held Monday morning, Dec. 3.    Born Aug. 1, 1905, in Wisconsin, he later moved with his parents to Little River, Kan., area, where he grew up. After moving to Sheridan, he married the former May Hays on Nov. 26, 1925. The couple lived there until his retirement. In the early 70s, they sold their farm and moved to Yuma to live. He is survived by his son, Keith, of Newark, N.J.; three daughters, Mrs. Jim (Norma) Greer of Kewadin, Mich., Mrs. Mike (Jean) Foley, of Morton, Ill., and Mrs. Craig (Barbara) Callies of Ames; ten grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Edna Bunsinger, of Kansas.
