BARNARD, Flossie May

Mrs. Flossie May Barnard, of Phoenix, Arizona, a former resident of Columbus Junction, Iowa died February 25, 1990, at the age of 85. She was born February 28, 1904, at Columbus Junction, the daughter of Fred and Lily Wagner. She and her husband, Arthur Barnard, operated a restaurant in Columbus Junction for many years, and a food stand at the Louisa County Fair. They also had a roller skating rink here at one time. She was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Silver Leaf Rebekahs and the American Legion Auxiliary, all of Columbus Junction. Her son, Howard L. Barnard of Phoenix, survives. Her husband preceded her in death. Private services were held in Phoenix.
