Inman, S.C. ­-- Ruby Bollhoefer, 75, of Inman, S.C., formerly of Newton, Iowa died Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Spartanburg Regional in South Carolina. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. at Newton Union Cemetery with Rev. Beverlee Bell officiating. Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements. No visitation is scheduled. Memorials may be made in her name and left at the funeral home. The daughter of Ira and Edith (Cannon) Bell, she was born Sept. 7, 1927 in Newton, Iowa. She was a graduate of Newton High School. She married Marvin D. Bollhoefer and worked as a secretary and a homemaker. She also lived in Cedar Rapids and West Chicago, Ill. And retired to Arizona before moving to Inman, S.C. in 2002. She and her husband enjoyed traveling around the world. Survivors include two brothers, Max Bell and Ed Bell of Des Moines; a half-sister, Ann Schuele of Knoxville, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews.
