Salt Lake Tribune (Salt Lake City UT) Sunday, March 27, 1994, p B11 Helen Beck Droubay died at home March 22, 1994. Born July 28, 1907 to Mattie Hammond Beck and Smith Beck in Flagstaff, Arizona. She graduated from Tempe Teacher's College and taught school in Jerome until she married S K "Red" Droubay of Tooele, Utah. She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1936 and taught in Walkermine, California in the 1930's and later taught first grade at Rowland Hall in Salt Lake City from 1958 to 1965. She is survived by one sister, Alice Burton, Carmel, California; two daughters, Nancy Droubay, Salt Lake City; Ann Boregino of LaVerkin, Utah; and two grandchildren, Dan Boregino and Mary Boregino, both of Salt Lake City. The family asks that donations be made in her name to Friendship Manor instead of flowers. Services to be held at Friendship Manor, 1320 East 5th South, Tuesday, March 29th at 2:30pm.
