McKIBBEN, William Ray 
William Ray McKibben entered into rest suddenly Monday, May 9, 2005. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, 1/28/1921, son of late Stella and William McKibben, he is survived by his beloved wife Carolyn (DiPlacido) McKibben, and his sister Martha Smith. He is also survived by his children: Lynn Elam (deceased), Carol-Ann Smith, Barbara Carman, and Bernie McKibben, and 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was a World War II Veteran and resident of Sun City, Arizona. Memorial services held at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, who often met his needs in WWII.  Published in The Arizona Republic on 5/13/2005.
