The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ June 11, 2009 Anthani Alexis Plumb, 12, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, in Springerville. She was born July 18, 1996, in Springerville to Ronnie and Rikki Plumb. Anthani was a student at St. Johns Middle School. She loved music and loved to dance and sing. She had a very strong love for her family and her friends. She loved her dog "Trouble." Her very best friend in the world was her grandmother Patty. She is survived by her parents; sister Jordan Plumb; her "brother" Trouble; grandparents Luke and Patty Atherley, Alice Plumb and Ester Robles; and great-grandparents Ted and Yvonne Atherley. Anthani was preceded in death by grandpa Milton Plumb, great-grandparents Richard and Helen Pulliam; and great-grandmother Pauline McDowell. A rosary was held Wednesday, June 10, at 7 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A viewing was held one hour prior to the rosary. Funeral Mass was held Thursday, June 11, at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment was at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery. Burnham Mortuary of St. Johns handled the arrangements.
