The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ June 11, 2009 David Joseph Valocchi, 51, of Tempe died June 5, 2009, in Lakeside. He was born Jan. 16, 1958, in Phoenix. He was predeceased by his brother, James P. Valocchi (2000) and sister Jeannine M. Valocchi (1997). He is survived by his parents, James and Olga Valocchi of Lakeside; three daughters, Destiny (Robert) Ryan of Camp LeJeune, N.C., Brittany (Mathew) Ulmer of Camp LeJeune, N.C., and Ashley (Jesse) Estrada of Tempe; brothers Wayne (Mary Lou) Valocchi of Gilbert, Chris (Julie ) Valocchi of Scottsdale and Gene (Jamie) Valocchi of Mesa; sisters Celia (Van) King of Hampton, Va., and Toni Valocchi of Gilbert; seven grandchildren, Cole, Kendall and Spencer Ryan of Camp Le Jeune, N.C., Dakota and Ryan Ulmer of Camp Le Jeune N.C., Isabel and Jesse Estrada of Tempe; and many nephews and nieces. Memorial services were held Wednesday, June 10, at Christ Life Church in Tempe. Arrangements were under the direction of Falconer Funeral Home of Gilbert.
