Jonathan Browning entered into rest June 5, 2009, in Cibecue. He was born May 23, 1976, in Phoenix. He will be dearly missed by all but never forgotten.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Thompson Gatewood; stepfather Major Gatewood; godparents Mervyn Skidmore and Rosalita Gregg; brothers Nathan Browning, Aaron Browning, Jesse Thompson, Erick Thompson, Amos Thompson, Jonathan R. Browning and Dennis Williams Jr.; sisters Donna Thompson Williams and Sharilyn Browning; uncle Christian Thompson, Stacey Browning, Leroy Browning, Winky James and Roger Burdette; aunts Carolyn Kletschka, Virginia Lewis, Rosalita Gregg and Patricia Beatty; nephews Marcus Alan Browning, Anfernee Williams, Latrell Williams, Nathan Browning Jr., Delahoya Browning and Jess Thompson Jr.; nieces Mikayla Dahkoshay and Deja Dahkoshay; and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nicholas and Rose Thompson; father Hiawatha John Browning Jr.; brother Alexander Browning; and cousins Joseph and Brailie Lewis and Antonia Thompson.
A wake started at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 11, at the late Rose Thompson's residence in Cibecue.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at the Living Water Church in Cibecue with Pastor Wayne Stephens officiating.
Interment will be at the Thompson's family plot in Cibecue.
Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
