Jerry Lupe, 46, died June 6, 2009, in Whiteriver. Jerry was born Aug. 23, 1962, in Whiteriver to Nelson and Eva (Cruz) Lupe Sr.
Jerry loved working on cars and cooking. His family was his life, especially his three youngest daughters.
Jerry met and spent 12 years with Ruthie Susan before being recently married Feb. 29, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Ruthie Lupe of Whiteriver; four daughters, Nikki (Darin) Nez, Je'ree Lupe, Stormy Lupe and Jarin Lupe, all of Whiteriver; six grandchildren; mother Eva Lupe of East Fork; brothers Ronnie (Vera) Lupe of Whiteriver, Arnold (Elvina) Lupe of Whiteriver, Everett (Patricia) Lupe of Whiteriver, Gary (Bernita) Lupe of East Fork, Leo Cruz of East Fork and Antone Cruz of Albuquerque, N.M.; sisters Anette Tenijith of East Fork, Arlene (Burton) Natan of East Fork, Vallery (Crisantos) Bead of Hon-Dah, Neysa Aguino and Minda Trusdell, both of Phoenix.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jerilyn Lupe; grandson Harper Nez; father Nelson Lupe Sr.; and sisters Carmen and Rebecca Lupe.
A two-night wake will begin 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at his residence in Whiteriver.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.. Monday June 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Fort Apache Branch Chapel.
Interment will be in the Dove Street Cemetery.
Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
