Wanita F. DeLaRosby, age 93, a long-time resident of Bullhead City, passed away on January 3, 2011, in Bullhead City, Ariz.
Wanita was born on April 28, 1917, in Illinois. She was raised in Cloquet, Minn., where she graduated from Cloquet High School and was the Homecoming Queen.
She later married Ted DeLaRosby, Jr.
They owned and operated a sporting goods store and two real estate offices in Cloquet, where they were also both real estate brokers.
They moved to Alexandria, Minn., where they owned and operated Mill Lake Resort. Later they retired and moved to Bullhead City.
Wanita will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Wanita was preceded in death by her husband, Ted, her parents, and two brothers Roy and Harris.
She is survived by her three children Patti DeLaRosby (Jack) Harrington of Bullhead City, Dean (Karina) DeLaRosby of Fremont, Calif. and Clyde (Barbara) DeLaRosby of Cloquet, Minn.; two brothers, Bob and Hank; six grandchildren, Allan Lee Reed, Terri Kae DeLaRosby, Shelley Reed, Dierre (Tony) Jackson, Mike (Nelly) DeLaRosby, Steve (Kris) DeLaRosby; and seven great-grandchildren, Jessica, Jake, Amanda, Kyle, Mitch, Alyssa and Cory.
At Wanita's request there will be no services.
Inurnment will be in Cloquet, Minn., with her husband, Ted.
Wanita loved animals, and in lieu of flowers, a donation to your local animal shelter in Wanita's name would be appreciated.
