The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ June 18, 2009 Carl William Rosin, 82, of Show Low died Friday, June 12, 2009. He was born Jan. 12, 1927, to William and Marie (Lutz) Rosin in Grand Haven, Mich. He was known as "Michigan's Polka King." He is survived by his wife, Florence; sons, Steve and Arnie; three grandchildren and sister Irene. A funeral service will be held at noon, Monday, June 22, with a visitation one-hour prior at the Owens Livingston Mortuary, White Mountain Chapel 320 N. 9th St. in Show Low. Burial will be in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cavecreek Road in Phoenix. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
