WELKER, Jane Anne

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ June 29, 2009 Jane Anne Welker died in Phoenix on June 24, 2009. She was born in Bridgeport, Conn., Nov. 10, 1938, to Emil Fritz Dietman and Eleanor Sell. She was a member of the Mountain Bells Barbershop Chorus. She is survived by her husband John of 52 years; daughters Elizabeth (Charles) Whiting and Barbara (Jame) Carey, both of Taylor; brother Ronald Dietman of Shelton, Conn.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Emil, mother Eleanor and daughter Judith Lemke. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 1, at 3 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Taylor. Arrangements are being handled by the Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor.
