HOLT, Francis Lyman

HOLT, Francis L. Mesa -- Graveside services for Francis Lyman Holt, 62, who died Sept. 30, 1979, in the Tucson St. Mary's Hospital burn unit, were in Mesa City Cemetery, 1212 N. Center. Mr. Holt attended schools in his native Mesa. He lived in the Tucson area the past 35 years and was an ironworker. He was building a hay feeder when he cut into an oil barrel and it exploded Aug. 20 at his home in Cortaro, north of Tucson. He suffered severe burns and a broken leg. Survivors include his children, Carolyn, Annette, Patty, Bill, Charlie and David; six sisters and six brothers. Services in Brings Mortuary at Tucson. Published in the Arizona Republic 4 October 1979.
