Ruth Elizabeth Duncan, 75, died May 24, 2009, at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 1, 1933, in Elgin, Ill.
In 1983, Ruth met and married Raymond Duncan in Tempe. In 2004 they moved from Tempe to Lakeside to enjoy the great outdoors. Ruth's passions included gardening, her cats and reading.
She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond "Ray" Duncan of Lakeside and her daughter Claudia Jouett of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Ruth (Dorsey) Stewart and sister Mary Ann Achilli.
