OVERLEY, Cecil L.


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 30, 2009 Cecil L. Overley, 69, recently of Show Low and formerly of Queen Creek, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at RTA Hospice in Lakeside. He was born Sept. 20, 1939, in Mesa, the son of Orville and Virginia (Kellogg) Overley. He was raised and attended school in Mesa and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He spent his work career as a trucker. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and the outdoors. Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Robertson of Anchorage, Alaska, and Lisa Yates of Show Low; two sons, Joe Wolf of Mesa and Michael Overley of Snowflake; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gail Overley. No services are planned at this time. The family requests memorials to RTA Hospice, 1789 W. Commerce Dr., Lakeside, AZ 85929.
