GILMORE, Toni

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 30, 2009 Toni Gilmore, 72, of Show Low died Thursday, March 19, 2009, at RTA Hospice in Lakeside. She was born Jan. 7, 1937, in Phoenix, the daughter of Bob and Rosa (Vosa) Savattione. She graduated from Glendale High School in 1956. She married Jerry Gilmore on May 22, 1969. They lived in the Valley until coming to Show Low in 2001. She was a lifelong homemaker and enjoyed quilting and collecting bells. She was known by all as a loving and caring person. Survivors include her husband, Jerry; daughter Marcella Hill (John) of Fullerton, Calif.; son Steve Gilmore (Patty) of Peoria; and sister Katherine Carlson of Peoria. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Joseph John Savittone. A viewing was held Saturday, March 21, at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to RTA Hospice, 1789 Commerce Dr., Lakeside, AZ 85929. Arrangements are under the direction of Black's Mortuary of Show Low.
