The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ April 6, 2009 Jim Lochner, 54, of Lakeside died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at RTA Hospice in Lakeside. He was born May 19, 1954, in Elgin, Ill., the son of Larry and Margorie Lochner. He was raised and graduated from high school in Elgin. He came to Arizona in 1972 and graduated from Northern Arizona University with bachelor's degrees in business management, history and geology. He married Shirley Aug. 19, 1993, on the Colorado River. He had worked in management for Circle K and most recently was a case manager for the White Mountain Salvation Army. He was a devout Chicago Bears fan and was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a member of the White Mountain Life Church. Survivors include his wife Shirley; stepdaughter Monica Ferguson (Dr. Dave Ferguson) of Eden, Okla., and their children, Emily, Morgan and Bennett; stepson Eric Juras (Brittany) of Ponchatoula, La.; and sister Nancy Erreca. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at the White Mountain Life Church in Show Low with Pastor Rich Van Proyen officiating.
