The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ April 9, 2009 Ricardo P. Hill died Thursday, March 26, 2009. He was born in Springerville March 13, 1945. He married Shirly Johnson, and together they had four children, Greg, Eric Ricardo Jr. and Michael. He later married Marcella Martinez-Hill in 1997. Ricardo worked at the Deseret Chemical Depot and retired in May 2008. He served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed restoring cars, watching wrestling and taking care of and spending time with all of his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Marcella; sons Ricardo (Darlene), Mike (Lisa) and Alex Martinez (Kylee); brother Ben Hill of Springerville; and grandchildren Rae, Annemarie, Laticia and Destaney Martinez. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Shirly, sons Greg and Eric, two brothers and a sister. A viewing was held Wednesday, April 1, at Tates Mortuary. There were no graveside services.
