Ervin John Lupe of Whiteriver entered into rest April 5, 2009, at RTA Hospice and Palliative Care in Lakeside. He was born June 28, 1950, in Cibecue.
Ervin loved fishing, camping and hunting with his family and children. He also enjoyed going on round-ups. He worked many years at the Show Low and Whiteriver saw mills. He also managed a liquor store and supermarket.
He was the father of 10 children (eight living at the present time), Ernie, Timothy, Gerald, Ervia, Erin, Erinda, Ervina and Eva Marie. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two children, Maybelline and Geraldine; his parents, Roy Lupe and Dolly D. Lupe, and brother Armen.
Ervin's body was taken home for a two-day wake at his residence at 1624 S. Palomino Ave. No. 209 in Whiteriver starting Thursday, April 9, at 10 a.m.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 11, at 1 p.m. at the Lutheran Church in Whiteriver.
