Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona May 4, 1989, page 2-A Private cremation was conducted for Janis Ruth Ayers, 64, of Wickenburg, who died April 23 in Wickenburg. Mrs. Ayers was born Aug 24, 1924 in California. She had lived in Arizona for the past five years. She was a lifelong member of the Southern Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James C. Ayers, of Wickenburg; a son, Thomas Martin of Spokane, Wash.; two daughter, Jannette Simmons of Fresno, Calif., and Susan Sher of Chandler; a brother, Walter Musey of Carmel, Calif., and eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
