Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona May 4, 1989, page 2-A Private cremation was conducted for Marie Madelyn Bales, 75, of Wickenburg, who died April 25 in Wickenburg Community Hospital. Burial was in the Brush Memorial Cemetery in Brush, Colo. Mrs. Bales was born March 13, 1914 in Ft. Morgan, Colo. She had lived in Arizona for the past seven years. Survivors include her husband, Carl R. Bales, of Wickenburg; a daughter, Mary Bowman of Moscow, Idaho; a sister, Mollie Friehauf of Brush; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
