Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona May 18, 1989, page 2-A Services are pending for George Popp, 64, of Wickenburg, who died May 10 at the Veterans medical Center in Prescott. Mr. Popp was born in Dowell, Ill., and had lived in Arizona for the past 11 years, coming to Wickenburg in 1978 from Union. Mo. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a real estate and automobile salesman, and had been retired since 1981. Survivors include his wife, Darlene, of Wickenburg; his mother, Ana Popp, of Union, Mo.; a daughter, Melodi Popp, of Anchorage, Alaska and a sister, Rena Perry, of Union, Mo. Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home of Prescott was in charge of all arrangements.
