Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona May 18, 1989, page 2-A Services were Wednesday at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Marguerite M. Buchtinec, 85, of Wickenburg, who died May 13 in the Wickenburg Nursing Home. Fr. Thomas E. Boyle officiated, with burial following in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mrs. Buchtinec was born March 7, 1904 in Chicago, Ill. She had lived in Arizona for the past six years. She was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and the Ray Vogue School of Art in Chicago. She had lived in Wheaton, Ill. and Washing ton, D.C., before moving to Wickenburg. Survivors include her husband, John H. Buchtinec of Wickenburg; two sons, William L. Searles of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Warren A. Searles of Denton, Texas; a daughter, Joyce Short, of Arlington, Va.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
