Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona May 18, 1989, page 2-A Services were Saturday, May 13 at the First Baptist Church of Congress for Madeline P. Stephens, 68, of Wickenburg. Past or Everett Palmer officiated, with burial following in the Congress Cemetery. Mrs. Stephens died May 6 in Wickenburg Community Hospital. She was born Sept. 20, 1920 in DeWitt, Ark., and had lived in Arizona for the past 10 years. Survivors include her husband, Bill, of Wickenburg; four sons, Carl W. Stephens of Sun City, Calif.; Frank Stephens of Rowland Heights, Calif.; Leland Stephens of Santa Ana, Calif.; and N. Dean Stephens of Congress; a sister, Margaret Lawson of Arkansas; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
