Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 8, 1989, page 2-A Services are scheduled from 9-11 today, Thursday in the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Gilpin Donevan Small, 75, of Salome, who died June 5 in the Wickenburg Funeral Home. (Probably Wickenburg Community Hospital) Robert Smith will officiate, with private burial following in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Small was born Aug. 13, 1913 in Oil City, Penn. He had lived in Arizona for the past five years. He was raised in Olean, N.Y. He was a foreman for Youngtown Mfg, Co. in Youngtown, Ohio for the past 20 years; and shipping supervisor at Eubanls Engineering in California for six years. Survivors include his wife, Vera G., of Salome; four sons, Wade, of Canyon Lake, Calif., Gilpin Small, Jr. and Thomas, both of Fontana, Calif. and Dan, of Salome; four daughters, Jane Miller of Lancaster, Calif., Beverly Williams of Riverside, Calif., Barbara Seidita of New Middleton, Ohio and Donna Allen of Tempe; two sister, Helen Shissler of Arcade, N.Y. and Sasa Small of Olean, N.Y.; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. All arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
