GUZMAN, Julia

Julia Guzman 67, lost her long battle with the rare disease, sarcoidosis on Saturday, December 11, 2010. Julia was born in Bowie, AZ then moved to Tucson with her family. 

She was a graduate of Immaculate Heart High School in Tucson. Julia was employed by Ansel Pharmaceutical Corp. for over 20 years. For ten more years she was employed by the State of AZ as an Administrative Assistant. 

Julia was preceded in death by her mother, Louisa Guzman; father, Librado Guzman; sister, Belinda Guzman and brother-in-law, Manuel Canales. She will be loved and deeply missed by sisters, Socorro (Manuel) Canales, Liz (Bill) Baechler and brothers, Marcelino Guzman, Librado (Delilah) Guzman Jr., numerous nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends. 

Julia loved classical movies, movie trivia and political discussions with members of her family. She had a huge heart and always put her family before herself. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 17, 2010, with Viewing at 9:00 a.m., Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb Rd. Followed by interment at Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY INC.
