GWIN, Mary L., 78, long time resident of Tucson, went to be with her daughters, Geneva and Jean and son, John on December 13, 2010. She was born in Columbus, Indiana, daughter of the late John L. and Maude E. (Sullivan) Brooks. She has been a resident of Tucson for the past 40 years. She was the beloved wife of Alvin R. Gwin of Tucson; she leaves her children, A. Keith Gwin of Tucson, Marcia Solis (Ernest) of Alaska, Steven Gwin of Sahuarita, P. Andrew Gwin, Darren Gwin, all of Tucson and Benjamin Gwin of Gilbert; many grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren. She also leaves a sister, Doris Monroe of IN. Many will remember Mary for her role as a Christian Youth Director at numerous churches in which she was affiliated. A Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2010 in EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
