LOZANO,
Hector G.
Hector G. Lozano Passed away on December 6, 2010. Hector was born August 30, 1956 in Tucson, AZ.
Graduated with a B.S. in Psychology at the University of AZ. and obtained a D.M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, NJ. He practiced Dentistry in New Jersey from 1985 and later moved to Santa Fe, NM in 2001. He continued his profession with great pride up until his untimely death.
He was an avid admirer of the Arts, particularly Southwestern. He traveled all over the world and could tell you detailed stories of his adventures and about the Art Work he obtained and admired. He was extremely active in his community and although he had shared a private practice in New Jersey, he found his true passion in Santa Fe working with a mobile unit program that provided dental services to uninsured and immigrant adults and children.
He was highly motivated, had impeccable work ethics and a very personable man who made friends easily with his warm personality. He was a kind, generous man who would go out of his way to help you in any situation. He was abruptly taken at such a young age from his family and many Colleagues who considered him their family. We all love him so much and will miss him greatly.
He left behind his devastated mother, Carlotta G. Lozano; brothers, Francisco G. Lozano, Carlos G. Lozano (Amy J.), Daniel G. Lozano; sisters, Rosalinda L. Rae (James R.), Monica L. Gallaher (James W.), Veronica Lozano-Myers, Gloria G. Lozano. He was also survived by a large host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his father, Francisco V. Lozano, grandfathers, grandmothers, aunts and uncle and brother-in law.
On behalf of the family we would like to thank Torrance County Dispatch who responded to his call so swiftly. Jose Villegas, Police Chaplin of Corrections. His co-workers and Asst. Susie Arellano who helped us immensely throughout this most difficult time.
