Lolita L. May Born December 19, 1921 in Marathon, Wisconsin. Passed away of a heart attack on November 27, 2010, aged 88 years, in Tucson, Arizona.
Preceded by husband, Roland Joseph May and sons, Robert Charles May of Iowa and Rolland Curtis May of Milwaukee. Survived by sons, David William May of Milwaukee and William Allen May of Tucson, along with a host of other relatives and good friends.
LoLita or Lolly, as she was known to her many friends, had a reputation as a gentle friend, person with a wonderful sense of humor and always had a bright and cheerful outlook. She was a caring Mother and a generous friend.
A graduate of Marquette University School of Nursing, she was an RN who worked as a factory nurse for American Motors, later Chrysler and who also retired from the United States Postal Service. She loved to travel, loved to celebrate with friends and truly enjoyed her social network. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. At her request, no services were held.
She was cremated and her ashes till be interred in Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, she wanted donation made in her memory to the Community Food Bank or Planned Parenthood. Arrangements handled by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.
