MILLER, Lewis C.

MILLER, Lewis C., 84, died December 5, 2010. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a graduate of Michigan State University and Hofstra University. Later he pursued a career and volunteer work in the Sciences and Wildlife Conservation. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet of 57 years; his sons, Russell Miller and Charles Miller and grandson, Samuel Miller. He leaves two nephews, Donald Miller and Richard Miller. A Celebration of his life is planned at St. Phillips in the Hills Episcopal Church on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Clare Yarborough officiating. Donations in his honor may be sent to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Forever Wild (forever-wild.org), Tucson Wildlife Center (wwwtwc.com), or the Boy Scouts of America.
